I LOVE utilizing my slow cooker however I get real tired of the same meals over and over in them!
Need some new recipes! Drop your favourite go to recipe for the slow cooker/crockpot below!
My go to meal is shredded chicken fajitas!
2 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 half onion (I use yellow, you can use whatever)
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 orange pepper
1 tomato
2 clove of garlic, minced (I sometimes just use garlic powder if I’m lazy lol)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cayenne powder
1/2 tsp chili flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Tortilla wraps
Sour cream
Shredded cheese
Chop peppers into stripes, dice onion and tomato. Lay in bottom of slow cooker. Place chicken breast on top and season with season mixture.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours. Stir half way through and flip chicken. Once chicken is cooked through, use 2 forks to shred. Add chicken and peppers to a wrap with choice of toppings (sour cream, shredded cheese, etc)

Goodness-Gracious-
We do a chicken pesto
-Couple of chicken breasts
-1 stick of butter cut up
-squeeze of lemon juice
-jar of any type of pesto
•Cook for 5 hours on low
•30 minutes before done take out chicken and shred then re-put back in crock pot
•In the meantime boil any type of pasta you like
•Once done add pasta, about 1-2 cups of mozzarella cheese, and some paremesan
Boom Bam! It's pretty good. Not very healthy but we love it and it's very quick and easy to make.

@MumAndBean,
Yep, and simple.
Sear the meat and remove. add an onion, carrots and garlic to brown them. Add one tablespoon of flour. Replace meat and pour over beef stock and any flavourings you like (we do garlic and Montreal steak seasoning). Mix and low heat for 8hrs. Pull and enjoy

I do chicken and gravy
usually 2 seasoned chicken breasts, a packet of gravy mix, can of cream of mushroom just bc I prefer the flavor over cream of chicken with some onions or an onion soup packet (or both lol) sometimes I add potatoes or carrots if I have them and cooked on low it’s done in about 4 hours
i also do chicken “pot pie” with 2 seasoned chicken breast, cream of mushroom and chicken broth with a bag of frozen mixed vegetables added at the end so they don’t get mushy and served with biscuits

@MzRedPlanet,
I don’t brown the meat! I just toss it in the crockpot and put the seasonings on top. I used to serve it over mashed potatoes, it’s soooo yummy that way. But I don’t have time to make mashed potatoes now haha
